Body-Centered Expressive Therapy


BCET is provided in an individual setting and supports integration of body, mind and spirit. The core principle is that the body has a consciousness and innate intelligence about what brings us wholeness and satisfaction, and what binds us to struggle and pain.

This therapy focuses on getting the mind to understand what the body knows. How often have you or someone around you said "my body is trying to tell me something"? We listen to the pain and take medicine for the symptoms. By actually listening to your body through these messages, life patterns can emerge that cast light on the causes.

BCET is a powerful tool to explore yourself more deeply, and listen to the language of the body through drawing, movement, therapeutic dialog and mindfulness. When the body and mind work together, there is more ease and a sense of wholeness and flow to your life.
